Kitagwenda County MP Robert Mugabe has urged local leaders to report community challenges promptly. During a recent interview, he addressed a hazardous damaged electricity pole in Kicheche Sub-county and pledged to lobby the Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited (UEDCL) to extend power to Kicheche, Kigoto, Omukarere, Kayanga, and Omukakorogoto.
Infrastructure Improvements
Akakorogoto-Kayanga Road: Mugabe acknowledged the poor state of the road, which currently lacks a culvert and becomes nearly impassable during the rainy season.
Commitment: He promised to lobby for the construction of the missing culverts and continue upgrading roads across the constituency.
