The Bishop of East Rwenzori Diocese, Rt. Rev. George K. Turyasingura, has launched an initiative to inspect clergy projects and residences, aiming to enhance staff welfare and promote self-sustainability within the diocese.
Announced during a thanksgiving ceremony in Kitagwenda District, the program focuses on upgrading living standards for senior staff and fostering income-generating initiatives.Preaching during the function, Ven. Rev.Lauben Biryomumeisho the archdeacon Ntuntu archdeaconry urged the Christians and clergy to avoid sin and follow Christ.
Speaking on behalf of senior clergy, rev.Willington Musinguzi the acting East Rwenzori diocesan administrator commended the bishop over the initiative saying it’s developmental.
Addressing the congregation, Patrick Turyamureba Payi a member of the synod, hailed rev.Moses Dakitari as a hardworking person who loves development and vowed to support development in the diocese.
