Kitagwenda town council LC3 Chairman’s Heroes Day Message
On this Heroes Day, I extend heartfelt gratitude to the community, honoring the courage and sacrifice of those who fought for peace, freedom, and unity. I remind residents that the true spirit of heroism is not only found in the past but also in the everyday acts of service, resilience, and solidarity within the community.
I thus urge everyone in Kitagwenda town council to:
- Preserve the legacy of national heroes by working together for development.
- Uphold peace and unity, as these are the foundations of progress.
- Support one another, especially the vulnerable, as a way of living out the values our heroes stood for.
I conclude with a call to action: “Let us be the heroes of today — in our homes, our villages, and our nation.”
