All roads will lead to Busiita Subcounty in Budadiri East tomorrow as residents gather for the official handover of land for the construction of the new subcounty headquarters.

The event follows a request made by residents through a council resolution submitted to the office of the area MP.

According to leaders, the handover marks a major milestone in the push to bring government services closer to the people of Busiita.

“Tomorrow we shall witness a historic day for our people in Busiita. The residents made a request to my office through a council resolution, and we are now moving to the next step of establishing their own subcounty headquarters,” the statement reads.

The new headquarters is expected to ease service delivery for residents who have for long had to travel long distances to access sub county services.

Community members, local leaders, and well-wishers have been invited to attend and witness the handover ceremony.

Local leaders are calling on residents of Budadiri East and the entire Sironko District to turn up in big numbers to celebrate this development for Busiita Sub county.
