Rev. Jona Zuckerman, an evangelist from Florida in the United States of America, is set to visit Ibanda Municipality for a week-long evangelical mission aimed at spreading the gospel and reaching out to needy and vulnerable members of the community.

Rev. Zac Man will conduct his ministry at Kagongo Full Gospel Church in Kagongo Division, Ibanda Municipality, where he is expected to preach from 18th to 26th.

The visit was disclosed by Bishop Robert Mugume, the leader of Kagongo Full Gospel Church, during an exclusive interview with our reporter.

Bishop Mugume said Rev. Zac Man’s ministry will focus on preaching the gospel of discipleship, encouraging people to turn away from sin and embrace repentance in order to strengthen their relationship with God.

According to Bishop Mugume, the evangelistic programme will also include deep counselling and prayer sessions aimed at providing spiritual nourishment and helping people overcome various challenges in their lives.

“This ministry is intended not only to preach the gospel but also to strengthen people spiritually through counselling and prayer,” Bishop Mugume said.

He added that the visit will extend beyond preaching, with the ministry team expected to identify orphans and other vulnerable people in need of support within the community.

Bishop Mugume said the needy identified during the outreach will be considered for assistance as part of the ministry’s commitment to supporting vulnerable members of society.

The church leadership has therefore called upon Christians and residents of Ibanda to take advantage of the visit by attending the services and participating in the counselling, prayer and discipleship sessions.

The week-long programme is expected to bring together Christians and other members of the community for evangelism, spiritual renewal, prayer, counselling and humanitarian support.

Church leaders believe the outreach will not only help strengthen the faith of believers but also provide hope and practical assistance to vulnerable people in the community.
