Competition is intensifying in the Kitagwenda District Ball Games after two rounds, with Kitagwenda Town Council and Kicheche Sub-County emerging among the early frontrunners in the Under-14 and Under-12 categories.
The Under-14 Boys category has produced a closely contested race, with Kicheche S/C, Kitagwenda T/C and Mahyoro T/C all tied on six points.
Kicheche S/C and Kitagwenda T/C lead the standings on goal difference, both at plus three, while Mahyoro T/C follows with a goal difference of plus two. Ntara S/C is fourth with four points.
In the Under-14 Girls, Kitagwenda town council set the pace with six points and an impressive plus 14 goal difference. Kakasi S/C and Nyabani are also on six points, making the race for the top positions increasingly competitive.
Kichece S/C and Bukurungu T/C are fourth and fifth respectively, with four points each.
The Under-12 Girls category has been dominated by Kitagwenda T/C, who have collected maximum points from two matches. They lead with six points and a remarkable plus 28 goal difference, while Buhanda S/C is second with four points and a plus 16 goal difference.
The Under-12 Boys category is equally competitive, with Buhanda S/C leading on four points and a plus four goal difference. Kitagwenda T/C is second on the same number of points but with a plus two goal difference, while Ntara S/C occupies third place with three points.
