Hundreds of people on Friday 24th April 2026 thronged Kabura village in Kanyansheko ward, Kagongo division in Ibanda municipality for the thanksgiving of Omuhereza Kenyonyozi Mukaka.
Omuhereza Kenyonyozi was thanking God for having helped her to survive the deadly accident that she got from Kirimirire corner in Ibanda town when a Tourism vehicle rammed into the Boda-Boda she was traveling on.
Muhammad Kayiwa, a taxi driver who picked the casualties gave testimony that he thought that they were dead.Kayiwa explained that he was driving from Mbarara and he asked his passengers to allow him to carry the victims to Ibanda hospital in Kagongo.
The function was attended by the leader of Tondism religion south-western Uganda, Tumwine Rugumiriza and representatives of Nalongo Nansaama, the president of traditional healers in Uganda among others.
