Members of the Diocese of East Rwenzori and Christians from across the region have been invited to join a special thanksgiving service celebrating the ministry of the Rt. Rev. Bishop George Turyasingura.
The thanksgiving, hosted by Rt. Rev. Bishop George Turyasingura andMama Juliet Turyasingura, will markeight and a half years of Episcopal Ministry in the Diocese of East Rwenzori.
According to the invitation, the thanksgiving service will take place on Saturday, 1 August 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Bishop’s ancestral home in Bigodi, Nyabubale. Lunch will be served immediately after the service at 1:00 p.m.
Bishop Turyasingura and Mama Juliet said they are gathering with hearts full of gratitude to thank God for His faithfulness, protection, and guidance throughout their years of service in the Diocese of East Rwenzori.
The celebration will be held under the theme from Psalm 107:1, which reads: “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”
Church leaders, clergy, Christians, friends, and well-wishers from across the Diocese of East Rwenzori and beyond are expected to attend the thanksgiving.
The organizers have extended an open invitation to all members of the public to join the celebration and give thanks to God alongside the Bishop and his family.
